Catalunya is the north eastern region of Spain and has a varied and exotic appeal. It is from here that the world received artists such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Pablo Casals, Caballe Montserrat, and, most prominently,Gaudi. Modern architecture lives side by side with Roman ruins and the most exciting cuisine has its roots in the traditional Catalan dishes.

A land of spectaular coastline and long sandy beaches, high mountains and deep river valleys, Catalunya has it all.

Remember also, Catalunya is Cava country! As well as internationally famous wines we also produce olive oil, almonds, pistachios, oranges, rice and the most fabulous seafood.

Come fishing, bird watching, walking, sailing. Visit exciting Barcelona and walk the streets that once, apparently, carried St George. Catalunya has everything to offer.

Catalunya Life started in 2004 as a simple information magazine providing guidance to residents in Catalunya.

During the last 12 months the publication has grown and changed, making it a magazine that appeals to a wider readership.
